How to Redeem Discover Card Points
Discover Card grants you up to 5 percent cash back on purchases made with your Discover Card account. Your “Cashback Bonus” rewards can redeemed for gift cards, cash or charity donations. When applying for a Discover card, you can choose a card that is automatically enrolled in the “Cashback Bonus” program or you can visit Discover.com to add “Cashback Bonus” rewards to your existing Discover Card account. You can review and redeem your rewards from anywhere you can access the Internet through Discover.com.

1)Go to Discover.com and log into your account using your username (or account number) and password.
2)View your “Cashback Bonus” rewards amount. This information is noted discover card the right hand side of your “Account Home” page. You can also click on the “Rewards” tab from the gray menu at the top of the page to view more rewards information.
3)Select how you would like to redeem your rewards from the left side of the screen. Your “Cashback Bonus” can be redeemed for a partner gift card or merchandise with one of 100 partner companies, a Discover gift card, or cash, transferred to your bank account or applied to your Discover card balance. You can even choose to donate your “Cashback Bonus” to charity.

According to Discover.com, “you may redeem Cashback Bonus for Partner gift cards, Discover Gift Cards or charitable donations starting at $20. You may redeem Cashback Bonus for cash in the form of a direct deposit to your bank account or a credit to your Discover Card account starting at $50 and in $50 increments.”
Cash redemption toward your Discover Card balance is applied automatically, the same way an electronic payment would be applied from your bank account. A cash transfer may take up to 72 business hours to be reflected in your bank account from the day it is processed by Discover Card.
For your security, you should not lend your Discover Card to another person or leave your card in a place where your information could be compromised. In addition, do not share your account log-in information with anyone, as doing so can compromise the security of your account.
If your Discover Card is lost or stolen, report it to Discover Card immediately by logging into your account at Discover.com, or by calling Discover Card Customer Service in the U.S. at 1-800-DISCOVER (1-800-347-2683).
