How Do I Access Discover Card Statements From Years Ago

Discover Card is a major credit card company whose primary benefit has historically been cash back for purchases. Discover Card offers many more benefits and services than just cash back however, including online account access. This allows you to view your current account activity, pay your bills, and view past statements. Discovercard.com, the Discover Card website, gives you access to all of Discover Card’s online services including 24 months of statements.

Instructions

Online Access Through Discovercard.com

1)Log in to your Discover Card account at Discovercard.com

2)Click on the “Recent Activity & Statements” tab.

3)Click on the “Statements” tab from within the “Recent Activity & Statements” tab.

4)Select the specific date range of the statement you want to view from the “Monthly Statements” drop-down box. All discover card transactions for the selected time period will be displayed. For a printable version, click on the “Download as PDF” link. This will allow you to save or print your monthly statement.

Telephone Access

1)Look up your Discover Card account number.

2)Call Discover Card at 1-800-DISCOVER (1-800-347-2683).

3)Enter your account number when prompted and then follow the prompts to speak to a customer representative.

4)Request the statement from the time period in question. The representative can have your statement emailed, faxed, or mailed to you.

Tips & Warnings

If you do not have online access, you can go to Discovercard.com and set it up. The process will only take a couple of minutes and you will need to have your Discover Card on hand along with some account security information that the website will request such as date of birth of the account holder, social security number, and mother’s maiden name. Once you’re registered, you can view previous statements online instantly.
