One of the many companies is the Discover Card Scholarship. Also known as the Tribute Award Scholarship, this award is given to high school seniors who intend to continue on their academic career.
If you are interested in this reward, you can apply as soon as junior year of high school. In order to be eligible for this tribute, the junior has to be enrolled in an accredited public or private high school within the United States. What is interesting is that the minimum grade point average requirement is 2.75 grade point average. This is lower than a number of other funding gifts from other companies. Remember, that the discover card is calculated through tenth grade as people are applying junior year.
Additionally the eligible applicant is required to be able to show leadership in achievements or involvement in local community activities. Most high schools have opportunities to participate in community service tasks.
