Benefits

The Discover card offers unlimited, unrestricted rewards to its customers, letting them enjoy vacation, business and leisure activities at almost no cost. The product also offers flexible redemption options and generous introductory rates.

Rewards

For each monthly purchase made during a customer’s first 25 months, they will be rewarded 1,000 bonus miles – giving them the opportunity to earn 25,000 bonus miles. No restrictions to airline, cruise lines, hotels or car rentals apply. Members will also earn unlimited double miles on all purchases and receive two miles for every $1 spent on ShopDiscover’s online shopping website. Cardholders can also redeem their rewards for gift cards, retail cards, merchandise and cash.

Balance Transfers

For the first six months, a zero percent annual percentage rate for balance transfers will apply. The card will also carry an intro balance fee of 3 percent and a $10 minimum transfer amount. After the intro period ends, a variable 10.99 percent to 16.99 percent APR will kick in. The balance transfer fee will also increase to 5 percent.

Rates

The Discover card will carry a zero percent APR for the first six months of a cardholder’s membership. Following this period, a variable 10.99 to 16.99 percent APR will apply. There is no sign-up fee, but members will be charged a $60 annual fee.

Who Should Apply

Individuals who travel frequently for business, fun or both will reap the rewards of the Escape card.

Credit Standing

The issuer requires an excellent credit rating of 750 or higher.
